Alicia McAllister Receives Penn State Funding for Spring Research

Penn State Erie, The Behrend College, has awarded Alicia McAllister, of Penn Hills, an undergraduate spring research fellowship. McAllister, a sophomore, will study "Research is a Mountain Climb: Comprehending Perceptual Metaphors". The work will be supervised by Dawn Blasko and Victoria Kazmerski.

Penn State Behrend awarded 58 grants and nearly $59,000 to student researchers this spring. The college provides nearly $350,000 each year to support undergraduate research by its students.
