Julie Heinl Receives Penn State Funding for Fall Research

Penn State Erie, The Behrend College, has awarded Julie Heinl, of Pittsburgh, an undergraduate fall research fellowship. Heinl's study, "The Effect of Social Media on Patient Satisfaction, Loyalty, Retention and Word-of-Mouth Referrals: A Pre-Post Comparison", will be supervised by Mary Beth Pinto.

Penn State Behrend awarded 35 grants and more than $43,000 to student researchers this fall. The college provides nearly $350,000 each year to support undergraduate research by its students.
