Kristan Russell Awarded Funding for Undergraduate Research

Penn State Erie, The Behrend College, has awarded Kristan Russell, from Harrisville, a $600 grant for the fall 2011 semester to conduct a group research project, titled "Global Processing Effects on Eyewitness Identification Accuracy: A Comparison of the Stroop Task and Navon Letter Task."

Russell, a senior psychology major, is working with Dr. Dawn Blasko, associate professor of psychology.

Penn State Behrend awarded 58 research grants to 77 students for the fall 2011 semester, totaling nearly $45,500. Annually Penn State Behrend provides nearly $250,000 to support undergraduate research conducted by its students.
