Margaret Watson Awarded Scholarship at Penn State Behrend

Penn State Erie, The Behrend College, awarded Margaret Watson, from Youngsville, a National Science Foundation STEM Scholarship and a Daniel S. and Wendy J. Mead Trustee Scholarship. Watson is a sophomore enrolled in the Division of Undergraduate Studies and graduate of Youngsville Middle-Senior High School.

To date for the 2010-11 academic year, Penn State Behrend has awarded nearly 500 Penn State Behrend-specific scholarships, totaling $1.2 million. Penn State Behrend awards scholarships based on academic achievement, financial need, leadership abilities and for study abroad opportunities.
