Sheila Ziems Receives Penn State Funding for Summer Research

Penn State Erie, The Behrend College, has awarded a summer research fellowship to Sheila Ziems, of Erie. Ziems's study, "The Experimental Work of June Etta Downey (1875-1932): Historical Research, will be supervised by Clare Porac.

Penn State Behrend awarded 37 grants and more than $57,000 to student researchers this summer. The college provides nearly $350,000 each year to support undergraduate research by its students.
