Stephanie Chestnut Receives Penn State Funding for Spring Research

Penn State Erie, The Behrend College, has awarded Stephanie Chestnut, of Dubois, an undergraduate spring research fellowship. Chestnut, a senior, will study "Development of a PCR-RFLP Method to Determine Strobilurin Resistance in Grapevine Powdery Mildew". The work will be supervised by Christopher Gee.

Penn State Behrend awarded 58 grants and nearly $59,000 to student researchers this spring. The college provides nearly $350,000 each year to support undergraduate research by its students.
