Tyler Ewing Receives Penn State Funding for Undergraduate Summer Research

Penn State Erie, The Behrend College, has awarded Tyler Ewing, of Fairmont, an undergraduate summer research fellowship. Ewing's study, titled "Characterizing Classical Orthogonal Polynomial Sequences", will be supervised by Daniel Galiffa.

Penn State Behrend awarded 39 grants, and more than $69,000, to 62 students this summer. The college provides nearly $350,000 each year to support undergraduate research by its students.
