Tyler Simpson Honored at Annual Awards Ceremony

Tyler Simpson, a freshman from Venetia, was honored by Penn State Erie, The Behrend College, at its 62nd Annual Honors and Awards Convocation. Simpson received a President's Freshman Award, which is presented to full-time undergraduate students who earned a perfect 4.0 cumulative grade-point average in the first semester of the freshman year.

Annually, Student Affairs coordinates this effort to recognize members of the Penn State Behrend community for their outstanding efforts in student life, athletics, academics and special service to the college. More than 200 awards were presented.
