Tyler Simpson Receives Penn State Funding for Summer Research

Penn State Erie, The Behrend College, has awarded a summer research fellowship to Tyler Simpson, of Venetia. Simpson's study, "Earth Mover's Distance in Diffusion Geometry", will be supervised by Meng Su.

Penn State Behrend awarded 37 grants and more than $57,000 to student researchers this summer. The college provides nearly $350,000 each year to support undergraduate research by its students.
